Aakriti Studio Nepal offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, develop technical expertise, and grow within a supportive creative environment.Role Description The Video Editor will work on-site at Aakriti Studio Nepal in Kathmandu in a full-time capacity, collaborating with the production team to create polished video content. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, selecting and organizing clips, editing sequences, and applying transitions and effects to achieve the desired narrative and aesthetic. The role involves performing color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics and titles, and ensuring audio is synchronized and mixed to professional standards. The Video Editor will also collaborate with directors and other team members to refine edits based on feedback, maintain organized project files, and prepare final exports optimized for various platforms.Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with multiple formats and timelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic color correction to maintain consistent visual quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines in a collaborative environment is expected.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field, and prior experience in a studio or production setting are advantageous.
