Call For Expression of Interest

the Consultant for conducting Policy Gap Analysis and developing Advocacy Materials for TPO Nepal, in collaboration with Carers Worldwide, SGCP, and Carers Alliance Network (CAN)

We strive to develop local psychosocial, mental health and conflict resolution capacity and systems that promote community resilience, quality of life and self-reliance through education, research, service delivery and advocacy.

Carers in Nepal remain largely unrecognized in government policies and development programs. Their rights and contributions are often overlooked due to the absence of dedicated frameworks. TPO Nepal, together with Carers Worldwide, SGCP, and other like-minded organizations under the Carers Alliance Network (CAN), is committed to addressing this gap through collaborative efforts and campaigns. The initiative aims to conduct a policy gap analysis and develop advocacy materials to integrate carers’ issues into ongoing policy reforms and revisions.

For this purpose, a Call For Expression of Interest has been announced for the following consultancy position. Qualified Nepali citizens who meet the required criteria are invited to submit their applications.

The consultant will be responsible for

The consultancy will be conducted over six weeks (tentative), beginning from the date of contract signing.

The consultant will report to TPO Nepal and work closely with Carers Worldwide, SGCP, and CAN members. Regular updates will be shared with the core team, and feedback will be incorporated into deliverables.

The consultant will be remunerated based on agreed terms, with payments linked to the submission of deliverables.
