Legal & Compliance Officer

📋 Job Description

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including NRB, AML/CFT, and SEBON frameworks
• Draft, review, and vet legal documents, contracts, agreements, and internal policies
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on necessary updates and risks
• Conduct due diligence and support internal audits and compliance reviews
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders when required
• Assist in developing and implementing compliance frameworks, policies, and internal controls
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to legal and compliance matters

✅ Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), BBA, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in legal and compliance roles (preferably in financial/investment sector)
• Strong understanding of NRB regulations, AML/CFT guidelines, and SEBON frameworks
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• High attention to detail with strong ethical standards and integrity
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities
