IT Support Officer

📋 Job Description

• Design, implement, and maintain network, server, and firewall systems.
• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux/Windows servers.
• Provide technical support for network, hardware, and software-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain in-house servers, network devices, and workstations.
• Ensure smooth operation of Internet, VPN, LAN, and Intranet connectivity.
• Monitor bandwidth usage, system performance, and data processes.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, software licensing, and warranty claims.
• Escalate critical technical issues to appropriate vendors/service providers.
• Generate procedural documentation, installation guidelines, and IT reports.
• Travel to branch offices when required to provide technical support.
• Handle procurement and requisition of IT-related equipment.
• Maintain proper records and inventory of IT assets.

✅ Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT support or technical support roles.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, firewall systems, and server management.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
