Officer – Buying & Merchandising

📋 Job Description

• Achieve targeted Inventory Turnover Ratio and category performance goals
• Ensure optimal GIMROF (Gross Inventory Margin Return on Floor) for assigned category
• Support in developing and executing category strategies in coordination with the B&M Head and operations team
• Plan and execute promotional activities to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
• Conduct regular vendor meetings and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Communicate category plans clearly and resolve vendor issues as per company policies
• Coordinate with finance for vendor payments, reconciliations, and margin negotiations
• Work closely with SCM team to ensure timely stock availability based on buying plans
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate product records

✅ Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Business Management, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in health & beauty, cosmetics, or retail merchandising
• E-commerce experience will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel – intermediate level preferred)
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making ability
• Effective communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills
• Self-motivated with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset
• Good leadership and team coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good knowledge of health & beauty / cosmetic products
• Must have a valid two-wheeler driving license and own vehicle
