Parent Federation of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PFPID) Nepal invites qualified and experienced consultants or consulting firms to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to design and deliver a two-day training program on National and International Policies and Laws for Persons with Disabilities. The training aims to enhance the knowledge and capacity of parents, self-advocates, and representatives of organizations of persons with disabilities regarding disability rights, legal provisions, and mechanisms for advocacy and inclusion.

Activity Modality: Parents and representatives from twelve districts will participate in this capacity-building event.

Persons with disabilities continue to experience barriers in accessing their rights and participating fully in society. While Nepal has adopted various laws, policies, and commitments to promote the rights of persons with disabilities, many families and organizations remain unaware of these provisions and their practical implications.

PFPID Nepal seeks to strengthen the understanding of national and international disability rights frameworks among parents and representatives of organizations of persons with disabilities, enabling them to advocate effectively for inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities.
