Job Summary
The Inventory Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring optimal stock levels, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams, and supporting efficient inventory operations. The role helps minimize stock discrepancies, prevent shortages or overstocking, and ensure timely availability of materials.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory records in the Inventory Management System (IMS).
Record and verify all stock transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and returns.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
Monitor inventory levels and proactively report low-stock, excess, or slow-moving items.
Ensure accurate product information, including item codes, pricing, and barcode data, is maintained in the system.
Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely stock availability and replenishment.
Prepare and submit inventory reports, stock movement summaries, and variance reports for management review.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
