Junior Officer - Digital Operations

Job Description

Big Mart is looking for a creative Video Content Creator to produce and edit engaging short-form social media content. The role involves managing shoots, editing videos using tools like DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro, and supporting digital campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and execute daily content creation, especially short-form videos (reels, stories, etc.)
• Intermediate to advanced video editing for social media platforms
• Add and manage sound effects, music, and transitions effectively
• Stay updated with trending edits, formats, and social media trends
• Manage video shoots; camera operations independently
• Assist the team in executing digital campaigns and content calendars
• Organize and manage video data including raw footage and final edited files

Job Specification

• Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s completed with relevant experiences
• Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in video editing, content creation, and social media content production.

Skills & Competencies:

• Sound camera skills / DaVinci required / solid content strategy / work independently
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve preferred; Premiere Pro also accepted
• Good understanding of sound effects, music syncing, and timing in edits
• Strong awareness of social media trends, viral content formats, and reels/TikTok-style editing
• Basic understanding of content planning and digital campaign execution
• Creative mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Mandatory Requirement: Valid driving license with personal vehicle
• Timing: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel to shoot locations within Kathmandu Valley and occasionally outside the valley for work purposes
