Role Description The Interior Designer/Architect will work full time in a hybrid capacity, primarily based in Kathmandu with some flexibility for work from home. Daily responsibilities include developing design concepts, creating detailed drawings and 3D visualizations, preparation of BOQ, selecting materials and finishes, and preparing mood boards and presentations for clients. The role involves collaborating with clients to understand their requirements, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and overseeing site visits to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. The designer/architect will also support project documentation, cost estimation, and timelines, while staying current with design trends, building codes, and best practices in interior architecture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in interior design and architectural planning, including space planning and concept development.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering tools).
• Strong ability to select materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that align with client needs and project budgets.
• Experience preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for contractors and vendors.
• Effective communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present design ideas and respond to feedback constructively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in residential and/or commercial interior projects; portfolio showcasing completed work is highly beneficial.
