Voices of Women Media aims to build feminist leadership and effect changes in society’s treatment of girls & women in order to create a just world without discrimination.

VOW Media wants to contribute to a world where everyone enjoys their basic rights and live with dignity, equality, and justice. We are a non-profit organization that is committed to offering access and opportunities to media technology and different forms of art, so that girls & women can voice their own lives – in order to raise hidden and silenced issues in our communities.

Our work focuses specifically on access to media, arts and technology for girls and women. We also run various campaigns which plays a role in contributing to cultural & social change in our communities.

Telling one’s own story—claiming one’s voice—changes a person and a community in ways that support larger social change by building agency as well as both individual and collective power.

Voices of Women Media (VOW Media) is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Resource Center & Knowledge Management Officer who will lead Junkiri: the feminist library, an initiative of VOW Media. The Officer will be responsible for an effective and efficient management of library resources and services to support information access, literacy, and feminist learning. The role involves not only cataloguing, organizing, and assisting users in locating and utilizing resources but also organizing workshops, programs and holding feminist events throughout the year.
