Dhulikhel Hospital

Dhulikhel Hospital seeks a psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological care, conduct assessments and engage in clinical research.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

Conduct initial assessments of patients' and students needs and develop individualized treatment plans

Provide counselling sessions using various evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, or solution-focused therapy

Neuropsychological assessment for general cognitive functioning, learning disorders and ADHD in adults and children

Conduct programs on educating patients and their families on coping skills, stress management, and self-care strategies

Collaborate with other health care professionals, such as physicians, nurses and psychiatrists, to ensure coordinated and holistic care

Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient information and interventions

Conducting scientific studies of behavior patterns and cognitive function in all age group

Researching psychological, emotional, behavioral or organizational patterns and identifying issues

Diagnosing potential disorders

Discussing possible methods of treatment with patients

Researching and writing papers on mental health issues and disorder

Education

Master's degree in Clinical Psychology.

Experience

Proven experience of at least 2 years as a psychologist in a clinical/hospital setting.

Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with diverse mental health conditions (PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, etc.). Proven track record in research publications and systematic reviews.

Skills: Proficient in psychological interventions, SPSS, MS Office; strong interpersonal, empathetic, and teamwork skills.
