Job Description
Samari Utthan Sewa (SUS) is a non-government and not-for-profit organization, founded by a group of youths from the Dalit community in Chitwan. Since its inception in 2008, it has been working to ensure the rights of Dalits and other minority groups based on caste, gender, and sexuality. Due to Its prior experiences regarding sustainable community development, knowledge production, advocacy, and result-based management, it now stands as a leading civil society actor in Nepal. So far, it has contributed to the socio-economic upliftment of 4000 households of Dalit, Chepang, and Santhal tribals associated with 250 Self-help groups, 6 agriculture cooperatives, and 6 community-based organizations under various project interventions.

Samari Utthan Sewa (SUS) is a leading organization committed to social justice, human rights, and empowerment of marginalized communities in Nepal. For this, it invites applications from qualified, motivated, and committed Nepali citizens for the following positions.
1. Private Sector Engagement Coordinator (1 Position)
Bharatpur, Chitwan-based
Role Summary: Develop and strengthen partnerships with private and cooperative sector actors to promote labour rights, social protection access, and ethical business practices.
2. Senior Project Coordinator (1 Position)
Kathmandu-Based, 30% Field Visits
Role Summary: Manage overall implementation of the projects, ensuring quality, and timely achievement of objectives.
3. Project Coordinator (1 Position)
Chitwan, Bharatpur based with 40% field visits.
Role Summary: Lead and coordinate the implementation of the project activities in Chitwan and Makawanpur. Ensure timely delivery of project outputs, quality assurance, and effective stakeholder coordination.
4. Social Mobilizer (3 Positions): Hanumanjhula, Chitwan; Bharatpur, Chitwan and Hetauda, Makawanpur
Role Summary: Mobilize communities and vulnerable groups to participate in anti-trafficking and social protection-related activities. Act as the project’s frontline presence in designated areas.
5. Junior Finance Officer (1 Position)
Kathmandu-Based, 50% Field Visits
Role Summary: Manage financial transactions, accounting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with SUS and donor financial policies.
6. Social Mobilizer (1 Position)
Bhaktapur-based
Role Summary: Engage urban communities in climate resilience activities, facilitating awareness, participation, and local action.
