About the Role

Focal Tech Point is seeking a Web Developer with a strong focus on website design and development. You'll create beautiful, responsive websites for our company and clients, turning designs into polished, functional sites that look great and perform well on every device. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Kathmandu office.

Responsibilities

• Design and build attractive, responsive websites from mockups and concepts
• Write clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create engaging web pages
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, fast, and cross-browser compatible
• Build and customize websites using CMS platforms like WordPress
• Optimize sites for speed, performance, and SEO
• Maintain and update existing websites and fix bugs
• Collaborate with designers and content teams to bring ideas to life

Requirements

• [1+] years of experience in website development
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Good eye for design, layout, and responsive web development
• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
• Familiarity with a framework or library (e.g., React, Bootstrap, jQuery)
• Understanding of SEO basics and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu

Nice to Have

• Basic graphic design or UI/UX skills
• Experience with PHP for WordPress customization
• Knowledge of web hosting and domain management
• A portfolio of live websites
