The Finance Intern will support day-to-day accounting, cash handling, and bank reconciliation to ensure accurate records for a fashion and lifestyle business. This role is ideal for a fresher who wants practical exposure to accounting entries, payment tracking, and accounting software while meeting time-sensitive reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

Post accounting entries for daily transactions, ensuring correct heads, dates, and reference documents.

Perform bank reconciliation by matching bank statements with internal records and resolving discrepancies.

Support cash management activities, including cash/cheque handling documentation and daily tracking of inflows/outflows.

Assist in preparing basic financial reports and summaries for internal review.

Verify supporting documents for payments, invoices, and receipts before recording transactions.

Coordinate with store/operations teams to collect and validate transaction data on schedule.

Support month-end activities such as compiling transaction records and helping with closing checklists.
