Role Overview

We are looking for driven and experienced Business Development Managers across Nepal to lead and expand our agent and university network across key international destinations. This is a senior level role that requires a deep understanding of international student recruitment, strong relationship management capabilities, and the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities within the education sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing The Official Representative's presence in their assigned region, building partnerships with universities and education consultancies, and ensuring that our network continues to deliver results for partners and students alike.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business partnerships with universities, colleges, and education consultancies within your assigned destination. You will manage and strengthen existing agent and partner relationships to maximise placement volumes and conversion rates. You will represent The Official Representative at education fairs, networking events, and university visits both locally and internationally. You will work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth application processing, partner support, and timely communication. You will provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, partnership performance, and regional market developments. You will contribute to the overall growth strategy of The Official Representative by sharing market intelligence and identifying new opportunities within your assigned destination.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in international education, student recruitment, or business development within the education sector. Strong communication, presentation, and counselling skills with the ability to engage professionally at all levels. Proven relationship building and networking capabilities with universities, agents, and institutional partners. A solid understanding of international university admission processes, visa requirements, and student recruitment trends across Nepal. Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Bachelor's degree minimum, preferably in Business, Education, or a related field. Candidates from any district or city across Nepal are encouraged to apply.
