Role Description As a Graphic Designer and Video Editor Intern at COL-Thinkspace, you will support the design and media team by creating visual assets for digital platforms, including social media, websites, presentations, and marketing campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing graphics, layouts, and illustrations aligned with brand guidelines, editing video content, adding motion graphics, and preparing final files for publishing. You will collaborate with developers, marketers, and other team members to ensure visual consistency across projects, contribute ideas for creative concepts, and assist in maintaining the company’s digital asset library. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, offering hands-on experience and mentorship in a professional tech environment.
Qualifications
- Strong graphic design skills, including proficiency with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software.
- Video editing capabilities using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable tools, with basic understanding of motion graphics.
- Ability to create digital assets for web and social media, with an eye for layout, typography, color, and visual storytelling.
- Basic understanding of branding and marketing concepts to support creation of visually consistent promotional materials.
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Design, Multimedia, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks under guidance in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
- Portfolio showcasing design and video editing work (academic, freelance, or personal projects) is highly preferred.
