Job Summary

An IT Technical Writer creates clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for software, systems, applications, and IT processes. The role involves working closely with developers, engineers, product managers, and subject-matter experts to turn complex technical information into easy-to-understand documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write high-quality technical content related to IT, cloud computing, and infrastructure.

• Create clear and well-structured technical documentation, user guides, reports, tutorials, and IT-related articles.

• Develop content covering technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, data analytics, virtual machines, Linux environments, and cloud infrastructure.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand content for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Review, edit, and proofread technical content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and proper grammar.

• Collaborate with technical teams, developers, engineers, and subject-matter experts to gather and verify technical information.

• Conduct independent research to understand new technologies and produce accurate and relevant technical content.

• Maintain documentation standards, formatting, terminology, and content quality across all materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cloud computing and IT infrastructure fundamentals.

• Ability to research, understand, and explain technical concepts accurately.

• Excellent written English and strong technical writing/documentation skills.

• Ability to create clear and professional guides, reports, articles, tutorials, and technical documentation.

• Strong editing, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, Linux, virtual machines, data analytics, and cloud technologies is preferred.

• Ability to work effectively with technical teams and meet documentation deadlines.
