Role Description The Junior Video Editor will support the creative team by editing video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand promotions. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, cutting and refining clips, adding basic transitions and effects, and syncing audio to create cohesive stories. The role also involves collaborating with designers and marketers to align visuals with brand guidelines, optimizing videos for different platforms, and assisting with simple motion graphics or color adjustments as needed. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, requiring regular presence at the office to work closely with the creative and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing and basic Video Production for short-form, long-form and social media content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual styles.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animations and visual elements.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms is beneficial.
• Proficiency in common video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow creative direction are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Kathmandu and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A portfolio or sample work showcasing video editing and visual creativity is highly advantageous.
