We are seeking a motivated Restaurant Shift In‑charge to lead our front‑of‑house team at The Workshop Eatery, located on Tushal Marg, Kathmandu, Nepal. This full‑time, on‑site role offers a competitive salary of NPR 18,000‑21,000 per month and is ideal for individuals with at least two years of hospitality experience (either on-the-job or casual) who are ready to ensure smooth operations during their shift.

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate between front‑of‑house and kitchen team during assigned shift, ensuring high standards of service.

Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance, providing coaching and feedback as needed.

Oversee order taking, billing, and cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the dining area and service stations.

Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to achieve guest satisfaction.

Prepare and serve coffee and related beverages as a certified Barista, maintaining equipment and inventory.

Monitor stock levels of consumables, generate requisition orders, and coordinate with the kitchen team for seamless service.

Prepare shift reports, including sales, labor, and incident logs, and communicate them to management.

Requirements

BHM Running or completed

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in food & hospitality industry

Proven barista skills with the ability to prepare a variety of coffee beverages.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and efficiency.

Ability to work flexible hours, and switch between shifts.

Fluency in English and Nepali; additional languages are a plus.
