Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Chef de Cuisine based in Kathmandu. The Chef de Cuisine will oversee the culinary team, manage daily kitchen operations, and create innovative menus with a focus on high-quality ingredients and authentic global cuisines. Responsibilities include supervising food preparation, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, controlling costs and inventory, and training team members to uphold excellent culinary standards. The role will also involve collaborating with management and contributing to the overall dining experience by delivering exceptional services.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in menu creation, culinary techniques, and food presentation
• Strong leadership, team management, and training skills
• Sound understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
• Experience in cost control, inventory management, and supplier coordination
• Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for culinary arts
• Prior experience in a fine dining or luxury hotel environment is a plus
• Culinary certifications or a degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management preferred
