Employment Type: Full time Tunnel / Underground Construction Project Site: Landruk ModiJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Boomer Repair Technician / Tunnel Equipment Repair Technician to support our tunnel and underground construction operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Boomer drill rigs and other tunnel construction equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of Boomer drill rigs, hydraulic jumbos, TBMs, and related tunnel equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
• Conduct breakdown repairs at site and minimize equipment downtime.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and hydraulic/electrical schematics.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts consumption.
• Coordinate with equipment operators, engineers, and site supervisors for timely maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and site procedures.
• Assist in commissioning and de-commissioning of tunnel equipment when required.

Required Qualifications

• Technical Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and repair of heavy construction or tunnel equipment.
• Proven experience working with Boomer drill rigs or underground drilling equipment will be a strong advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, mechanical assemblies, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues under site conditions.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and breakdown management.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in confined underground environments.

Preferred / Additional Requirements

• Experience in tunnel, hydropower, mining, or underground construction projects.
• Welding, fabrication, or hydraulics certification (preferred).
• Willingness to work in shifts, extended hours, or on emergency call-outs.
• Physically fit for underground and site-based work.
