Job Description

The Program Director will lead the strategy, design, execution, and evaluation of programs that create meaningful value for young entrepreneurs. The role will translate organizational priorities into high-impact initiatives across entrepreneurship development, leadership, mentorship, networking, business exposure, policy engagement, knowledge sharing, and ecosystem development.

Responsibilities of the Candidate

Develop and manage the annual program strategy and calendar aligned with organizational priorities.

Design entrepreneurship, leadership, mentorship, networking, startup/SME development, investor-readiness, policy, and business exposure programs.

Lead end-to-end execution of programs, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, quality, and timelines.

Develop program objectives, budgets, implementation plans, KPIs, deliverables, and impact measures.

Lead flagship events, founder roundtables, business forums, industry visits, recognition programs, and other major initiatives.

Identify member needs and develop programs that improve engagement and deliver tangible value.

Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, business leaders, mentors, investors, government bodies, universities, corporations, development organizations, and international networks.

Identify and manage program partnerships, sponsors, speakers, mentors, facilitators, and collaborators.

Prepare and monitor program budgets and ensure effective resource utilization and financial accountability.

Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks and track participation, engagement, satisfaction, partnerships, and program outcomes.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance and impact reports.

Work with internal teams on program communications, content, concept notes, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.

Lead cross-functional coordination and guide program teams to ensure effective execution.

Continuously identify new initiatives based on entrepreneurial trends, ecosystem needs, member feedback, and emerging opportunities.

Requirements

Master's degree/MBA in Management, Entrepreneurship, Development Studies, Economics, Project Management, or a related field preferred.

6+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project management, entrepreneurship development, business development, community management, association/non-profit management, development organizations, startup/SME ecosystems, corporate partnerships, or related areas.

Proven experience designing and managing multi-stakeholder programs or large-scale initiatives.

Strong understanding of entrepreneurship, startups, SMEs, and business ecosystem development.

Experience developing partnerships and working with senior-level stakeholders.

Strong project management, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, and execution capabilities.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, networking, and relationship-management skills.

Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination abilities.

Strategic, analytical, commercially aware, and results-oriented approach.

Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities while maintaining high execution standards.
