Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Education Counselor – Finland & Germany to guide students planning to pursue higher education abroad. The role involves student counseling, university and program selection, application support, documentation, financial guidance, and visa/residence permit assistance.

Location

Star Mall, Putalisadak, Kathmandu

Working Hours

10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Working Days

Sunday – Friday

Responsibilities of the Candidate

Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and study-abroad preferences.

Provide accurate information about universities, programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and study opportunities in Finland and Germany.

Assist students in shortlisting suitable universities and higher education institutions.

Guide students through application forms, documentation, SOPs, motivation letters, and resumes.

Advise students on applicable language and standardized test requirements such as IELTS and PTE.

Provide guidance on tuition fees, living expenses, scholarships, financial planning, and other study-related costs.

Guide students through relevant student visa/residence permit requirements and documentation.

Regularly follow up with prospective students and manage the counseling pipeline.

Work toward assigned student enrollment and conversion targets.

Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, follow-ups, and conversions.

Attend education fairs, seminars, workshops, and other student engagement activities.

Maintain ongoing communication and support students throughout the application and enrollment process.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in educational consultancy or study-abroad counseling.

Good knowledge of the higher education and admission processes for Finland and/or Germany.

Understanding of relevant student visa/residence permit procedures and documentation.

Strong student counseling and relationship-management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM software is preferred.

Professional, responsible, and comfortable working toward enrollment targets.
