Job Description

Position: Tibetan Language Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $40 - $95/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Translate, review, and edit Tibetan content for accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Collaborate with AI teams to enhance Tibetan language datasets.
• Provide detailed annotations and feedback on AI-generated text.
• Develop guidelines and quality standards for Tibetan language data.
• Conduct linguistic analysis to support AI model improvements.
• Support written and verbal communication across projects.
• Assist in training and evaluating AI models for Tibetan language processing.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Tibetan with strong communication skills.
• Strong experience in translation, editing, and proofreading.
• Expertise in Tibetan grammar, syntax, and linguistic analysis.
• Familiarity with digital tools for language processing and annotation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
