Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Video Editor for a creative media production company to produce engaging short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of current social media trends and the ability to transform raw footage into compelling visual stories, particularly in the real estate and marketing space.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality short-form videos for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.)
• Create engaging real estate, promotional, and marketing video content
• Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and basic motion graphics
• Apply techniques such as speed ramping and dynamic cuts to enhance storytelling
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and current trends
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Collaborate with the marketing/content team for creative direction

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Around 1 year of experience in video editing (preferably social media content) 
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects
• Strong understanding of social media trends and audience engagement
• Good sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
