The National Federation of the Disabled -Nepal (NFDN) is a national umbrella organization representing Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and advocating for the rights, dignity, and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities in governance and development processes across Nepal. NFDN partners with federal, provincial, and local governments, civil society, and development actors to strengthen disability-inclusive policies, accountability systems, and institutional capacities. “SAMAVESH: Supporting Active Measures Advancing Voices, Equality, Solidarity and Harmony” is the project funded by the European Union and implemented in Bagmati and Karnali Provinces of Nepal by CBM Ireland together with CBM Global Nepal, the National Federation of the Disabled -Nepal (NFDN), and the Federation of Women with Disabilities Nepal (FWDN). The project aims to increase the meaningful political participation of persons with disabilities — particularly youths, women, and individuals from minority and indigenous groups — in Nepal's democratic and decision-making processes. The project works with Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), the Election Commission of Nepal (ECN), political parties, parliamentary committees, government agencies, civil society organizations, and media actors, using approaches including Disability-Led Election Observation, Citizen-Generated Data, leadership development for women and youth, institutional capacity-building, and Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP) for grassroots OPDs. NFDN, as a national OPD network leading capacity-building, policy engagement, and advocacy activities under the project, is seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator to lead the day-to-day implementation of NFDN's activities under this project.
The position will work and coordinate consortium teams FWDN and CBM Global, oversee project implementation and partnerships, monitor the use of resources and achievement of results, ensure compliance and accountability and coordinate with government authorities, humanitarian actors, development partners, and other relevant stakeholders. The position will report to the Admin Manager, Program Manager of NFDN and CBM Global Nepal, based in federal office Kathmandu

Required Qualifications and Experience
This is a full-time position based in Kathmandu, with regular travel to the project districts in Bagmati and Karnali Provinces. The position will be offered on a yearly contract basis, renewable subject to satisfactory performance, and will continue for the duration of the project.
