Scholar port is looking for motivated and student-focused Education Counsellors to join our growing recruitment network on a commission basis. The role is ideal for individuals who have experience in international education, student counselling, admissions, or business development and who can independently identify, counsel, and support prospective students interested in studying abroad. As an Education Counsellor, you will be responsible for generating and managing student enquiries, understanding students' academic and career objectives, recommending suitable study options, and supporting them throughout the application journey. This is a performance-based opportunity with no fixed salary, offering attractive earning potential based on successful student recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate prospective student leads through personal networks, referrals, social media, and other appropriate channels.

• Counsel students regarding suitable countries, universities, institutions, courses, and study pathways.

• Assess students' academic backgrounds, career objectives, financial considerations, and study preferences.

• Provide accurate and transparent information about admission requirements, tuition fees, intakes, scholarships, and application processes.

• Recommend institutions and programmed based on student suitability and academic fit, rather than purely on commission potential.

• Manage student enquiries and maintain regular communication throughout the recruitment process.

• Assist students with application preparation and coordinate with Scholar port's internal team where required.

• Ensure submitted information and documentation is accurate and complete.

• Follow Scholar port's compliance, ethical recruitment, data protection, and student-first policies.

• Maintain accurate records of prospective and recruited students using Scholar port's tracking processes.

• Follow up with students and support them through offer, visa, pre-departure, and enrolment stages where applicable.

• Develop relationships with students, parents, education partners, and relevant stakeholders.

• Achieve agreed student recruitment and conversion targets.

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in education counselling, admissions, student services, sales, or customer service is preferred.

• Fresh graduates with strong communication and interpersonal skills may also be considered.
