Role Description

As a Business Development Officer at Navya Advisors, you will drive the adoption of our specialized financial software platforms designed for investment managers, fund administrators, and capital markets participants. This on-site role in Kathmandu involves identifying high-value growth opportunities across the financial services sector, managing end-to-end sales cycles, and positioning our domain-specific solutions—spanning regulatory compliance, investor servicing, portfolio analytics, and trade execution. You will engage directly with institutional clients and asset management leaders, aligning our technology with their operational realities and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across investment management firms, fund administration entities, and financial institutions.
• Drive the end-to-end sales cycle, including product demonstrations, proposal creation, and contract negotiations.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with capital markets stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with internal product and technical teams to translate client operational needs into successful software implementations.
• Research fintech trends, regulatory changes, and competitor landscapes to identify emerging market opportunities.
• Maintain accurate tracking of pipeline health, CRM records, and revenue milestone projections.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B business development, sales, or client-facing roles within fintech, software-as-a-service (SaaS), or financial services.
• Solid foundational understanding of capital markets, investment management operations, or fund administration.
• Exceptional communication, pitching, and stakeholder engagement skills tailored for executive-level audiences.
• Analytical ability to understand complex financial workflows and articulate technical software value propositions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Proactive mindset with a collaborative spirit and a deep interest in financial technology solutions.
