Main Roles and Responsibilities
Provide consulting service to implement all social-related activities and plans. Prepare reports in English and prepare PPT to appraise the team of Lenders and also to prepare report in Nepali meeting the GoN requirements.
Conduct regular monitoring of all social activities and prepare report in English and Nepali to share with the management.
Coordinate with the E&S team and management for the smooth operation of social activities.
Provide pragmatic solution for the operation of programs related to resettlement, labor accommodation, rehabilitation, IPP, and cultural heritage.
Activities to be undertaken and monitored based on the IFC Performance Standard.
Coordinate between the local people and the company to facilitate the grievances redressal mechanism by ensuring lawful decisions against grievances.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to appraise the E&S team on the social activity implementation performance in both English.
Willing to work in a rural community with limited facilities and familiar with rural settings and Tamang culture & environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Post Graduate in Economics, Sociology, and Management.
10 years of experience in the Social sector. Experience working with international donors.
Proficiency in MS word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Proficient in Tamang, Nepali, and English languages with presentation skills in English.
Knowledgeable about the current Nepali government's laws related to resettlement, rehabilitation, and cultural heritage.
