FAIRMED is a Swiss-based international development NGO with its motto, “Health for the Poorest.” The organization works to improve access to health care for marginalized communities and individuals affected by disease, disability, and living in poverty. In Nepal, FAIRMED collaborates with government and other stakeholders on prevention, management and control of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), and Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH) as a thematic area. Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) and Disability-Inclusive Development (DID) are integrated as cross-cutting themes across FAIRMED’s programs.

In order to act as the Focal point for organization’s communication and knowledge management, by capturing its achievements, bringing changes into people’s lives, and lessons learned, FAIRMED is looking for a Senior Officer for the position of Communication and Knowledge Management. The officer will lead all communication and knowledge management functions within the organization. The role focuses on strengthening internal and external communication, enhancing institutional visibility and branding. Extensive visits to project areas to capture program insights and develop quality communication materials such as case stories, reports, newsletters, and web articles.

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

A Master’s degree from a recognized university in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, Development Studies, or any other related discipline.
