Job Summary

The Housekeeping Instructor/Trainer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive theoretical and practical training in hotel housekeeping operations. The role involves teaching students industry-standard housekeeping procedures, demonstrating practical techniques, assessing student performance, and preparing learners for employment in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct theoretical and practical housekeeping training.

• Teach hotel housekeeping procedures, standards, and operations.

• Demonstrate room cleaning, bed making, bathroom, and public-area cleaning.

• Train students on linen, laundry, cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety.

• Prepare lesson plans, practical demonstrations, and training materials.

• Monitor and assess students’ practical performance and provide feedback.

• Maintain a professional and hospitality-focused learning environment.

• Prepare students with the skills required for employment in the hospitality industry

Required Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality training.

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.

• Practical knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations.

• Good communication and teaching skills.

• Ability to conduct both theoretical and practical classes.

• Prior experience as a housekeeping instructor/trainer will be an advantage.
