Job Purpose

To contribute to the growth of the Company by identifying and developing new business opportunities, acquiring and retaining clients, promoting the Company’s capital market products and services, and building strong and sustainable client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Identify potential clients and new business opportunities for the Company’s products and services.

Develop and implement client acquisition and business development initiatives.

Expand the Company’s customer base and contribute to achieving assigned business targets.

Develop business opportunities through individual outreach, corporate/institutional contacts, networking, market visits and other appropriate channels.

Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for introducing or expanding relevant products and services.

Product and Service Promotion

Promote the Company’s brokerage, DP, margin trading and other capital market-related services to prospective and existing clients.

Explain the Company’s products, services, procedures and applicable terms to clients accurately.

Coordinate with relevant internal teams to facilitate smooth client onboarding and service delivery.

Provide feedback to management regarding client requirements, market trends and potential business opportunities.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

Develop and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Follow up with prospective clients and convert identified opportunities into business.

Support client onboarding and coordinate resolution of service-related issues.

Maintain appropriate records of prospective and existing clients and business development activities.

Encourage existing clients to utilize relevant additional products and services of the Company.

Market Outreach

Participate in promotional campaigns, investor/client awareness programs, seminars, presentations and other business development activities.

Establish and maintain networks with individuals, institutions, corporate entities and other potential business partners.

Represent the Company professionally in client and market interactions.

Reporting and Target Monitoring

Maintain regular records of leads, client interactions, conversions and business generated.

Prepare periodic business development reports and updates for management.

Monitor achievement against assigned targets and develop appropriate follow-up plans.

Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management relating to business development and client

Required Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a relevant discipline.

Relevant experience in capital market, stock brokerage, banking, investment, sales or business development will be preferred.

Knowledge of Nepalese capital market products and services will be an advantage.

Strong communication, networking, negotiation and client relationship management skills.

Target-oriented approach with ability to develop and convert business opportunities.

Good interpersonal skills, initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
