About The RoleDevfinity is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of reliable, scalable, and high-performing applications. In this role, you will work primarily with C#, .NET Core, and MSSQL to develop APIs, web applications, and software solutions while maintaining and improving existing systems. You will collaborate with frontend developers and other cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performing applications, participate in technical discussions and code reviews, and contribute to solving complex development challenges.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET Core/.NET.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Design and optimize MSSQL database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies for performance at scale.
• Drive architecture decisions and contribute to technical roadmap and system design discussions.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code, and establish/enforce coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive technical feedback.
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues, including performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend developers and data teams.
• Champion Agile/Scrum best practices and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.

QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may also be considered.Minimum Technical Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience,
• Strong hands-on expertise with C#, .NET Core/.NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Strong command of MSSQL schema design, query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting performance issues.
• Deep understanding of REST API design, OOP, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Proven experience with Entity Framework Core and LINQ in production systems.
• Proven experience with Azure cloud services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Blob, Azure Container Apps, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with unit and integration testing (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, Moq) and testing best practices.
• Solid Git and version control workflow experience (branching strategies, PR review processes).
• Demonstrated experience mentoring other developers.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Experience in a regulated or high-scale production environment.
