About this role/ Role Overview

As the TV Implementation Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the Australian team with the day-to-day execution of complex and innovative Television campaigns. These include a range from small to large budget clients across the business.

You will be exposed to cutting edge technology that helps deliver solutions to audiences and learn the complex media landscape and ecosystem.

Your day-to-day will consist of supporting your team while developing your own media trading and implementation skills. Specifically, this will include setting up campaigns, collecting & processing data into value ad reports, making recommendations based on insights, and actioning financial tasks

Your deliverables are always of the highest quality and completed in a timely and efficient manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teamwork

Supporting your team in their execution of campaign set ups, reporting and financial tasks. Build strong relationships with both your Nepali and Australian teams. Be a member of a high performing, technically proficient, and strategic thinking team. Learn by doing and lead with curiosity.

  • Training and Development

Develop your technical knowledge through self-learning, on-the job shadowing, & making the most of company training opportunities. Working with the OM Investment community as well as the Television Networks to enhance your understanding of the Australian Television landscape including keeping up to date on local and international programming performance, influence of dayparts and dynamic buying methodologies to ensure campaigns deliver on client objectives. The expectation is that you will be proficient in buying client TV campaigns following a period of training. Your training will equip you with the knowledge and understanding of TV Buying so that you can buy to set goals, reporting accurately to your line manager in Australia, highlighting issues in good time in order for any challenges to accurate delivery of planned goals to be addressed and corrected in time.

  • Strategic Thinking

Begin to unearth the complex Australian media landscape, internal OM systems, your agency processes and your team’s client/s approach. As you develop and grow, you will be able to apply a strategic mindset to improve processes including reporting, campaign buying and management.

  • Workflow Management

Learn the skills to effectively manage your time and deliverables. All outputs are of the highest quality. You have excellent attention to detail. Your work requires little to no checking by others. You are proactive and take the initiative regarding task completion and management. Successful management of your time with competing deadlines that need to be juggled to ensure outputs are delivered on time and accurately.

  • Communication

Excellent English communication skills- being able to both interpret and convey information in a clear, concise way. Communication is equally effective over all platforms and situations e.g., location, culture, written, and verbal.

RESPONSIBILITIES IN DETAIL

Technical Expertise

  • Supporting in campaign set up and ongoing management in systems while developing your confidence and skills across the TV landscape
  • Delivering accurate campaign reporting and assisting in data management (including quality assurance, business reviews, ongoing client, campaign and financial reporting)
  • Administrative support, building internal documents and managing workflow between teams
  • Continue to develop system and tools knowledge, by self-learning and attending relevant training sessions
  • Committed to prioritising learning and reporting across finance management (SMD loading, reconciling, invoicing, reporting), media plan/confirms management, campaign approvals, day-to-day campaign management (including holdings, optimisations, budget tracking and amendments), ongoing post tracking/analysis, internal form submissions, investigating & resolving inconsistencies and general ongoing client/team reporting (including insights)
  • Gaining knowledge across OM internal tools and proprietary systems

Stakeholder Management

  • Working with line manager and client and investment teams within the agency
  • Working with the agency and your team to deliver best in class paid media activity
  • Responding to emails, requests and all team communications in a timely manner
  • Assisting in managing timelines and expectations of deliverables
  • Provide regular and effective progress updates to team

Product and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all work is delivered to the highest standard and deadlines are met
  • Checking all work to ensure any errors are identified and fixed quickly and efficiently
  • Supporting your team in identifying effective methods to strengthen our best practice
  • Developing and implementing more effective processes in conjunction with your team where required

Self-Learning & personal growth

  • A focus on developing your understanding of the media landscape, including best practice across Television within the Australian market
  • Take advantage of opportunities for development provided by your AU and Nepali teams
  • Actively participate in training/accreditation and take the initiative to train other staff members

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree completed.
  • No prior experience required; however, an understanding of media fundamentals and a passion for the industry would be preferred. Relevant experience in finance, financial accuracy, or process streamlining would be an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
