We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Category Head – E-Commerce to lead category strategy, growth, profitability, vendor partnerships, assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and inventory performance. The role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, commercial negotiation, data-driven decision-making, and team leadership to drive sustainable category growth.

Responsibilities of the Candidate

Develop and execute category growth strategies.

Manage supplier, vendor, and brand partnerships.

Negotiate pricing, margins, rebates, and promotional terms.

Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and category profitability.

Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activities.

Coordinate inventory planning, forecasting, and stock availability.

Track category KPIs, revenue, margins, and promotional performance.

Lead and manage the category team.

Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field; Master's preferred.

5–8+ years of experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising, Brand Management, or Commercial functions.

Experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, beauty, fashion, electronics, healthcare, or lifestyle sectors.

Strong vendor management, negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills.

Experience managing pricing, inventory, margins, and category performance.

Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
