Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Computer Technician to provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, printers, and other IT equipment. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing IT helpdesk support, maintaining network infrastructure, and ensuring systems are secure and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve computer, network, printer, and other IT-related issues.

• Provide IT helpdesk and technical support to employees.

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computer systems and software.

• Set up and manage routers, switches, access points, and other network devices.

• Support LAN/WAN installation, configuration, and network management.

• Configure and maintain email applications such as MS Outlook and Windows Mail.

• Install, configure, and manage printers and printer-sharing systems.

• Perform regular system updates, maintenance, and security checks.

• Manage file backups and assist with data recovery when required.

• Ensure proper internet security and data privacy practices.

• Provide basic technical guidance and training to users when needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Computer Technician or in a similar IT support role.

• Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with LAN/WAN networks and network devices.

• Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.

• IT-related training or certification is preferred.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and provide timely technical support.
