Rural Women Upliftment Association (RWUA), established on 22 Kartik 2050 B.S. in Sarlahi District, Madhesh Province, Nepal, is a non-governmental, non-profit social organization working for women's empowerment, child rights and protection, education, health, livelihoods, and community development. With more than 34 years of experience in community development and social transformation, RWUA has been implementing various development programmes in partnership with national and international development organizations. RWUA, in partnership with Save the Children under the SAMUNNATI Sponsorship Programme, invites applications from qualified, competent, committed, and motivated Nepali citizens for the following position:

Field Engagement: Approximately 90% field implementation and 10% coordination, reporting, and documentation

The Field Officer – Education will be responsible for the overall implementation, monitoring, supervision, documentation, and reporting of education-related activities under the SAMUNNATI Sponsorship Programme. The position holder will provide technical support, coaching, mentoring, and capacity building to teachers, ECCD facilitators, School Management Committees (SMCs), Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs), community volunteers, parents, and children. The Field Officer will particularly support ECCD, basic education, literacy, numeracy, child-friendly learning, school enrollment, retention, and quality education initiatives and will work closely with schools, communities, local governments, and other stakeholders.

Child Safeguarding and Protection

The position holder will have frequent direct contact with children and young people and must strictly comply with RWUA and Save the Children safeguarding standards. The selected candidate will be required to:

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in education programmes, with demonstrated experience in integrated development programmes, particularly in ECCD, Basic Education,  stakeholder engagement. Experience working with NGOs/INGOs, schools, local governments, teachers, SMCs/PTAs, and communities will be an advantage and known Local Language
