Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art computational geometry algorithms for acoustic simulation applications.

Lead the creation, refinement, and optimization of high-quality volumetric meshes, including tetrahedral and hexahedral meshes, for complex geometric models.

Research and implement novel techniques for mesh generation, mesh adaptation, and geometric processing to improve simulation accuracy and computational efficiency.

Collaborate closely with acoustic engineers, computational scientists, and software developers to integrate geometric solutions into simulation platforms.

Analyze the performance of geometric algorithms and identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and parallelization.

Develop robust and scalable solutions for handling complex geometric and computational challenges.

Contribute to technical research, algorithm design, prototyping, testing, and production implementation.

Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, testing, and algorithmic reliability.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computational Geometry, or a closely related field.

5+ years of professional experience in computational geometry, with a strong focus on simulation, CAD/CAM, or related fields.

Deep expertise in

Computational geometry algorithms

Geometric data structures

Numerical methods

Mesh generation and processing

Proven experience with

Volumetric mesh generation

Mesh quality metrics

Mesh adaptation strategies

Complex geometric modeling and processing

Exceptional proficiency in C++ programming.

Experience with relevant libraries and frameworks such as

CGAL

OpenVDB

Eigen

Familiarity with acoustic simulation, wave propagation, or numerical simulation principles is highly desirable.

Experience with parallel computing technologies such as OpenMP, MPI, or CUDA for large-scale computational geometry problems.
