Role Summary

Deliver comprehensive eye screening and vision-care services across community, school, and other settings. Conducts eye screening, refraction and ocular health checks across community and outreach settings — competent in screening, refraction, treatment, counselling, referral and data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Visual acuity, refraction and ocular health examinations

• Identify refractive errors, cataract and common eye conditions; refer appropriately

• Cataract post-op follow-up and spectacle dispensing

• Patient counselling, data management and documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• PCL / Diploma in Ophthalmic Science, with valid NHPC registration

• At least two years' experience in eye screening, refraction, outreach and community eye health programs
