The role involves planning, delivering, and reviewing module content in Mathematics for Computing, including lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions aligned with AIBS and QMU academic standards. The Module Leader will design assessments, grade student work, provide constructive feedback, and support learners through academic advising and consultation hours. Responsibilities also include maintaining up-to-date teaching materials, integrating relevant computing applications, participating in curriculum development and quality assurance processes, and contributing to academic meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires collaboration with faculty and academic administration to ensure a positive learner experience and strong student outcomes.Qualifications

• A strong academic background in Mathematics, Computing, or a closely related field; a master’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience teaching mathematics or computing-related modules at undergraduate level, ideally in an international or collaborative program.
• Ability to design clear lesson plans, learning outcomes, and assessment tasks aligned with program objectives and accreditation requirements.
• Proficiency in applying mathematical concepts to computing, such as discrete mathematics, logic, algorithms, and quantitative reasoning.
• Effective classroom management, student engagement, and mentoring skills, with an inclusive and learner-centered teaching approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts in accessible ways.
• Competence in using educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital tools to support teaching and assessment.
• Commitment to academic integrity, continuous professional development, and contribution to collaborative departmental activities.
• Experience with curriculum development, module review, or quality assurance processes is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Nepalese higher education context and international academic standards is beneficial.
