Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hub, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to operational procedures and standards.
  • Coordinate with the Kathmandu Hub to ensure effective operational alignment and process efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.
  • Monitor hub performance and prepare regular reports on key operational metrics, including on-time delivery, productivity, and overall efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, onboard, and manage delivery agents/drivers, ensuring proper understanding of company policies, operational procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Address driver concerns, inquiries, performance issues, and disciplinary matters in a fair and timely manner.
  • Provide regular updates to management on fleet and hub operations, operational challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Reconcile and collect cash and returned products from delivery agents, ensuring accurate records and timely settlement.
  • Update delivery status and payment details in the delivery sheet and submit collected cash to the Accounts team.
  • Create orders in Hermes and 3PL systems and print the required shipment stickers.
  • Assign pickup agents and coordinate timely product collection from merchants/vendors.
  • Receive incoming packages and verify shipment details to ensure accuracy and proper handling.
  • Coordinate the handover of Inside Valley shipments to the Transportation team and Buddha.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential merchants and new business opportunities.
  • Approach prospective merchants and effectively communicate the benefits of partnering with the company.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and agreements with prospective merchants in line with company guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with acquired merchants to support satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, delivery agents, merchants, and other stakeholders.
