Job Description
Job Summary
To support the Financial Risk Management department in budget monitoring, variance analysis, audit response tracking, and day-to-day Odoo (ERP) support — by preparing accurate data, maintaining trackers, and drafting first-cut reports for review.
Key Responsibilities
1.Budget & Variance
Compile departmental budget vs. actual data (Summary / Details / Pivot sheets) for factory and corporate departments
Prepare quarterly and annual variance workings; flag deviations above agreed thresholds with supporting PR/PO and specification references
Assist in the annual budget build and maintain budget dashboards
2. Odoo / ERP Support
Handle day-to-day user queries on Odoo from departments — purchase requests, purchase orders, bills, inventory and budget-related entries
Extract, clean and validate Odoo reports (PR/PO line exports, consumption and stock data) for departmental analysis
Act as the first point of contact for routine Odoo issues; coordinate with the ERP / Manufacturing Systems team for escalations
Maintain a log of recurring queries and support users with basic guidance and process clarification
3. Data & Reporting
Maintain Excel-based trackers and dashboards; refresh data links and validate totals against source files
Prepare clean, decision-ready summaries for management and corporate office
Support Power BI / dashboard data preparation
4. Audit & Compliance Support
Track internal audit observations and departmental responses; follow up on overdue replies
Compile supporting data and evidence for management responses (root cause, corrective action, timeline, owner)
Maintain the audit response register and closure records
5. Documentation & Control
Organize and index departmental files and scanned documents on shared drives
Maintain version control of working files and deliverables
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA/Master's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline is an advantage.
Relevant experience in banking, financial services, corporate finance, audit, risk, or investment is preferred.
Essential Skills
• Advanced Excel: VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, SUMIFS / COUNTIFS, pivot tables, data validation
• Accuracy and attention to detail in numeric work; ability to cross-check totals to source
• Comfort working with ERP data extracts; working knowledge of MS Word
• Clear written English and Nepali for drafting responses and correspondence
• Service-minded approach to handling queries from other departments
• Discretion with confidential financial and contractual information
