Role Description The Senior Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, responsible for leading video content creation that supports Caregiver Academia’s training programs and brand communication. This role includes planning and editing educational and promotional videos, collaborating with trainers and the marketing team to develop storyboards, and shaping content that clearly communicates caregiving concepts and institutional messages. Day-to-day tasks involve assembling and refining raw footage, applying color grading, integrating motion graphics and visual assets, and ensuring consistent branding and quality across all video materials. The Senior Video Editor will manage video production workflows, oversee post-production timelines, maintain an organized asset library, and provide guidance to junior editors or freelancers as needed. The role also involves staying current with video editing trends and tools to continuously improve the quality and impact of audiovisual content.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including managing end-to-end post-production workflows.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, clarity, and a professional look across all content.
• Experience creating Motion Graphics and working with Graphics to enhance educational and promotional videos.
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools).
• Demonstrated ability to translate educational content into engaging visual stories, preferably in training or educational settings.
• Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining high production standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with trainers, marketing, and management teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work on-site in Kathmandu on a full-time basis.
