Development and Production of Audio, Video and Animated Video Materials

for Nutrition and Food Security Awareness Campaign

The project “Improved Food and Nutrition Security through Diversified Income Generation and Empowerment” is implemented by the Nepal Agriculture Cooperative Central Federation Limited (NACCFL) in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests and Environment (MoAFE), with financial support from the Global Agriculture and Food Security Programme (GAFSP). The project aims to improve food and nutrition security, strengthen climate-resilient agricultural production systems, and enhance the livelihoods of smallholder farmers through sustainable agricultural value chain development.

Under the project, nutrition and food security awareness activities are being implemented through project cooperatives and community-level interventions. These activities seek to improve knowledge and practices related to nutritious diets, maternal, infant and young child nutrition, dietary diversity, food hygiene and safe food practices, and the importance of locally available nutritious foods.

NACCFL therefore invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced Nepalese individual consultants or media production firms to develop and produce a professional nutrition communication package comprising one nutrition campaign audio jingle, one nutrition awareness video, and one animated nutrition awareness video. The materials shall be developed in close consultation with NACCFL and aligned with the approved nutrition and food security messages and IEC/BCC materials for the project.

The assignment is expected to support communication with farmers, women, caregivers, youth and community members through social media, community events, awareness sessions, exhibitions, digital platforms and other appropriate communication channels.

The overall objective is to develop high-quality, accurate, engaging and culturally appropriate audio-visual communication materials that increase awareness and encourage positive nutrition and food-related practices among project beneficiaries and the wider community.

3. Required Qualifications and Experience

Interested Nepalese individuals and firms are invited to submit an Expression of Interest demonstrating their suitability and relevant experience. The EOI should include:
