Job Summary
The Account Executive will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting and financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely transactions and reconciliations, and supporting compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, and payment records.
- Prepare and maintain vouchers, ledgers, statements, and supporting documents.
- Perform regular bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up.
- Support VAT, TDS, tax documentation, and other statutory requirements.
- Verify invoices, bills, expenses, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Enter and update financial data accurately in accounting software/ERP systems.
- Assist in budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost-control activities.
- Coordinate with other departments and units regarding financial and accounting matters.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documents and information.
- Ensure compliance with organizational accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance; Hospitality experience will be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, TDS, and taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft Office, and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
