Job Description  

OM Surgical Concern Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and confident Product Specialist (Medical Instrument) to support business development and lead generation for our medical diagnostic instruments, reagents, and related healthcare solutions. The role will primarily focus on identifying potential customers, generating leads, promoting products, and building relationships with hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, clinics, doctors, pathologists, and laboratory professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate business opportunities across hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and healthcare institutions.

• Conduct field visits to introduce and promote medical diagnostic products.

•  Build relationships with doctors, pathologists, laboratory professionals, and key decision-makers.

• Develop strong knowledge of assigned products, their applications, and basic laboratory workflows.

• Present products and confidently address basic product-related queries.

• Generate and follow up on qualified leads.

• Understand customer requirements and identify relevant product opportunities.

• Support product demonstrations, presentations, exhibitions, and other promotional activities.

• Maintain records of customer visits, leads, follow-ups, and market feedback.

• Coordinate with sales, technical, and application teams as required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related science/healthcare field.

• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field with relevant business development/lead generation experience may also apply, provided they are willing and capable of learning technical medical products.

• Candidates from relevant science/laboratory backgrounds with team leading skills are encouraged to apply.

Experience & Skills

• Experience in business development, lead generation, medical/healthcare sales, marketing, or client-facing roles will be preferred.

• Experience working in laboratories, clinics, hospitals, or the medical diagnostics sector will be an advantage.

• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

• Comfortable with field visits and approaching new customers.
