We are seeking a talented and commercially minded Investment Analyst – Private Equity (Technology) with a strong understanding of both Technology and Finance to join our Private Equity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in the Technology sector and supporting the team throughout the investment lifecycle, from origination and due diligence to transaction execution and portfolio monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities in the Technology sector, including technology-enabled businesses, software, IT services, fintech, digital platforms, and other emerging technology businesses.
Financial Analysis & Modeling: Develop and review financial models, projections, valuation analyses, LBO models, and investment return calculations.
Technology & Market Analysis: Assess technology business models, products, market positioning, competitive landscape, technology trends, scalability, customer economics, and long-term growth potential.
Deal Evaluation: Conduct preliminary screening and detailed assessment of prospective investments, including business model analysis, market sizing, financial performance, management assessment, and investment thesis development.
Due Diligence: Support financial, commercial, operational, and technology-related due diligence processes and coordinate with external advisors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Investment Committee Support: Prepare investment memorandums, industry research, company profiles, financial analysis, presentations, and other materials required for Investment Committee discussions.
Deal Execution: Assist in transaction structuring, negotiations, valuation, preparation of transaction documentation, and coordination of various workstreams through deal closure.
Assist the Supervisor: Provide support to the Supervisor in investment analysis, research, financial modeling, due diligence, preparation of investment materials, portfolio monitoring, and other tasks as assigned.
Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, track key performance indicators, and identify opportunities for business growth and value creation.
Industry Research: Continuously monitor developments in the Technology sector, emerging business models, disruptive technologies, regulatory developments, and investment trends to identify potential investment opportunities.
Management & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with supervisor & team.

BIM/BIT/BSIT/MBA.
Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, consulting, venture capital, technology companies, or a related field.
Technology Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Technology sector and the ability to assess technology-driven business models, products, market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and emerging technology trends.
Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial analysis, valuation, financial statements, investment analysis, and financial modeling.
Investment Skills: Understanding of private equity investment processes, due diligence, transaction structuring, valuation methodologies, and investment return analysis.
Analytical Abilities: Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex business and financial information and translate it into clear investment insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technology and financial concepts clearly to senior management and investment committees.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools will be an advantage.
Commercial Acumen: Ability to understand the intersection of technology, business strategy, and financial performance, with strong commercial judgment and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, M&A, Transaction Advisory, or Corporate Finance.
Experience evaluating or working with technology companies, SaaS businesses, IT services, fintech, digital platforms, or technology-enabled businesses.
Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, financial modeling, LBO analysis, and private equity performance metrics.
Ability to conduct independent industry research and develop compelling investment theses.
Strong proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling and preparation of investment presentations.
