Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Assistant Manager / Manager Operations to oversee and strengthen day-to-day operations across dark stores. The role will focus on maintaining operational efficiency, product quality, accurate order processing, and timely dispatch while ensuring strong team performance and adherence to operational standards.The ideal candidate should have strong people management, operational coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

9AM-6PM ( Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities of the Candidate

Manage and coordinate the overall day-to-day operations of dark stores.

Ensure proper store keeping, product placement, and operational discipline.

Maintain product quality, hygiene, and appropriate storage standards.

Oversee order picking, packing, billing, and dispatch processes.

Manage store manpower, shifts, productivity, and overall team performance.

Ensure adherence to operational SOPs and quality-control procedures.

Coordinate with inventory and fulfillment teams to resolve stock-related issues.

Monitor operational accuracy and minimize picking, packing, and billing errors.

Track store KPIs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Support the setup and operational readiness of new dark stores.

Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve customer experience.

Requirements

2+ years of relevant experience in retail, supermarket, warehouse, dark store, FMCG, fulfillment, or similar operations.

Strong people management and operational management skills.

Experience managing teams, shifts, and day-to-day operational activities.

Strong understanding of operational processes, SOPs, quality standards, and inventory coordination.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.

Strong attention to accuracy, quality, and process discipline.

Good analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to monitor KPIs and implement improvements based on operational performance.

Strong communication and coordination skills.
