Job Description
Job Summary
The Telecommunication Engineer/Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of telecommunication systems and network infrastructure. The role ensures reliable network connectivity, minimal service downtime, and efficient delivery of telecommunication services to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, test, and maintain telecommunication equipment, network devices, and communication systems.
Perform installation and maintenance of fiber-optic cables, routers, switches, antennas, and transmission equipment.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, signal, and equipment-related issues.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom infrastructure.
Perform fiber-optic splicing, cable termination, testing, and fault detection where required.
Diagnose network failures and resolve technical issues within established service-level agreements (SLAs).
Conduct site surveys, equipment inspections, and network coverage assessments.
Support the deployment, expansion, and upgrading of telecommunication networks.
Maintain technical documentation, equipment inventories, installation records, and maintenance reports.
Coordinate with the technical team, vendors, contractors, and customers to resolve service issues.
Follow occupational health and safety procedures while working at sites, towers, and equipment rooms.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams as required.
Required Qualifications
B.E (Electronics and Communication, EEE, ECE, Electrical Engineering Pass out or Result Waiting, Diploma in Engineering TSLC)
Have Knowledge of Telecom equipment, Power System, DG Experience will be preferred
Relevant technical training or certification in telecommunications and networking is an advantage.
Practical knowledge of network infrastructure, communication systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
Relevant work experience in telecom installation, maintenance, or network operations is preferred.

Number of recurring network faults
Preventive maintenance completion rate
Installation and repair completion within deadlines
Compliance with technical standards and safety procedures
