About the Role

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will build and maintain our web applications, contribute to frontend architecture decisions, and help define the coding standards our team follows. You will work closely with designers and backend engineers, and you will also review code and support the growth of our junior developers.

This role suits a developer with several years of React experience who is ready to take on more responsibility for how our applications are designed and built.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy web applications using React and Next.js, with some work in Svelte and Vue.

Choose the right rendering approach (SSR, SSG, or ISR) for each use case and build API routes in Next.js with performance and SEO in mind.

Translate Figma designs into reusable, accessible components, and work with designers to resolve implementation challenges early.

Collaborate with the backend team on REST and GraphQL integrations, and define clear patterns for state management and data fetching.

Review pull requests, write unit and integration tests, and mentor junior developers.

Identify and resolve performance issues, including bundle size, rendering speed, Core Web Vitals, and cross-browser compatibility.

Participate in sprint planning and estimation, and help maintain reliable deployment workflows.

Requirements

4–5 years of professional experience building production frontend applications

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, along with HTML5 and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, and Tailwind CSS or CSS-in-JS)

Extensive hands-on experience with React and Next.js; experience with Svelte or Vue is a plus

Solid understanding of Next.js routing and rendering strategies, and when to apply each

Experience with state and data management tools such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or TanStack Query

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, package managers (npm, yarn, pnpm), and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Turbopack)

Strong communication skills and experience working in an agile team
